- A. Are your parents objective enough for the college coach?, Is the basic promotional recruiting service credible enough? Does your HS coach have enough time to cover ALL of the basis?
- Q. Do you understand clearly the recruiting standards in the sport and at the level you want to compete at?
- A. The answer to this question will define your true value in the recruiting process.

- A. This is often a moving target, this is important to define early on.

- A. The answer relates directly to how much money he may or may not have for you.

- Q. Have you worked up your pre-FAFSA financial aid profile?
- A. Many times coaches give “packages”, they love to “wait” on FAFSA information and that takes too long. Prepare and plan for this tactic and have information at the ready.
- Q. Have you attended a competition at the NCAA DI level? NCAA DII level? NAIA level?
- A. This is a good research project. Do not just assume you can or cannot play at these levels; you will be surprised at what you find.
