• Congratulations go out to Josh Varno, a LHP from Wapakoneta High School. He has verbally committed to a scholarship to pitch at Indiana State University of the Missouri Valley Conference.

August 22, 2003 --

• Congratulations go out to Rachel Quinlan-Waters of Cincinnati Mt. Notre Dame High School. She has verbally committed to a golf scholarship at Tusculum College, a DII school in Greenville, TN.

August 1, 2003 --

• Congratulations go out to Amanda Bader, a golfer from Lima Central Catholic High School. She recently accepted a scholarship offer to play at Bowling Green State University.

• Congratulations to Cory Luebke, a pitcher from Marion Local High School. He recently accepted a scholarship to pitch at The Ohio State University.

July 22, 2003 --

• Former BAC athlete and Ohio State OF Christian Snavely (Defiance 1999) was recently drafted in the 6th round by the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He is currently playing in Auburn, New York, a single A affiliate of the organization.

• Three BAC baseball athletes were ranked in the Top 20 in the Class of 2004 by The Buckeye Scout. They are: Cory Luebke, LHP from Marion High School - 3rd; Scott Boley, Shortstop from Celina High School - 10th; and Josh Varno, LHP from Wapakoneta High School - 17th. Congratulations!

• Congratulations go out to Libby Lame, a field hockey player from Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati. She recently accepted a scholarship offer to play at Kent State University.
